New Graduate Student Orientation

New Graduate Student Orientation

On Wednesday, August 17, the Graduate School sponsored a half-day orientation session for all new graduate students, including new international graduate students. This half-day session was held at the Bryce Jordan Center from 1 to 5 p.m. and was followed by the annual Graduate School Reception at 5 p.m. in the South Annex of the Bryce Jordan Center.

The afternoon session covered important topics for new graduate students, including graduate student life and health insurance. All graduate students, both international and domestic on any form of assistance administered through the university, are automatically enrolled in the graduate assistant benefits program that will be covered during this session.

The health insurance session is mandatory for all new international graduate students.
